  • Create or back crowdfunding projects,

Depending on how you use the platform:

  • We act as a “controller” of your personal data when we decide why and how to process it (e.g., your account, marketing, security) under laws like the EU/UK GDPR.

  • Creator / vendor details: project/company name, payout details, tax information (e.g., TIN/EIN where required), portfolio links, service descriptions.
  • Crowdfunding details: project descriptions, funding goals, reward tiers, campaign updates, survey responses.
  • Transaction data: purchases, pledges, subscriptions, order details, refund requests.
  • Support & communications: messages to support, content of emails, feedback forms, reports of abuse.

3.2 Payment & payout information

  • We use third-party payment processors and partners (e.g., card processors, digital wallets, banking intermediaries) to handle payments, pledges, and payouts.
  • These providers collect and process card numbers, bank details, and other financial data on our behalf. We generally receive only limited information (e.g., last four digits of card, token, transaction status).

3.3 Automatically collected information

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, app version, pages viewed, links clicked, time spent, referring/exit URLs.
  • Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies: for login, preferences, analytics, fraud prevention, and (where permitted) advertising/retargeting.

3.4 User-generated content

  • Webcomics, artwork, text posts, comments, messages, project pages, service listings, portfolios, and any media you upload. This content may be public by design.

    • Detecting and preventing fraud, spam, abuse, copyright infringement, and other violations; enforcing our Terms & Conditions and Vendor Agreement.

    • Complying with tax, accounting, anti-money-laundering, sanctions, and other legal obligations; responding to lawful requests from authorities.
  7. Analytics & improvement
    • Measuring usage and performance; improving features, user experience, and content moderation tools.
